Meet Dr. Samantha Mahr

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in New York City. I work with adults across the lifespan, helping patients navigate the complexities of relationships, identity, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck—repeating patterns in relationships, battling self-doubt, struggling with persistent feelings of anxiety, or the weight of depression. Perhaps you are navigating major life transitions, looking to heal from traumatic experiences, experiencing work-related stress or challenges related to your identity. My goal is to help you engage with yourself and others in a more meaningful, fulfilling and authentic way.
